Max Richert's earliest memories are of riding along with his dad to job sites, watching him work with quiet focus and pride. At 17, he moved to Canada and joined a Winkler, Manitoba construction company to learn the fundamentals — insulation, framing, windows and doors, tile work.
A move to Seattle to work alongside his cousin Dennis, owner of Elite Construction (formerly Evolve Construction), changed his direction entirely. Dennis taught him advanced tile installation and what it meant to think like a business owner — even buying Max his first set of tools. His influence is the reason behind the name Evolve Construction.
In 2017, Max founded Evolve Construction, starting with tile installation and bathroom renovations. Early mistakes — competing on price, relying on handshake agreements — taught him the importance of structure, transparency, and standing firm on quality.
Today, Evolve is a family business in the truest sense. Max's brothers Simon (Red Seal Carpenter) and Andreas (Civil & CAD Technician) are co-owners, bringing craftsmanship, technical expertise, and shared values to every project.
One project — a subcontractor with unclear pricing, missed deadlines, and a $25,000 cost overrun — changed how Evolve operates, permanently. Today the company works only with trades who provide clear, detailed pricing, treats timelines as commitments, and front-loads planning to eliminate surprises before they start.
To become the most trusted name in Canadian design-build construction, setting the standard for craftsmanship, customer experience, innovation, and integrity while impacting generations for God's glory.
We create timeless homes and spaces designed around the lives of our clients. Every project is guided by exceptional planning, transparent communication, fixed-price clarity, and uncompromising craftsmanship — giving our clients complete confidence in every step of the process.
“Evolve exists to redefine the design-build experience by creating timeless, premium spaces through exceptional planning, uncompromising craftsmanship, and Christ-centered integrity — bringing confidence, peace, and lasting value to every client while glorifying God in everything we do.”
“Do what is right, even when nobody is watching.”
Integrity is the foundation of every decision we make. We tell the truth, keep our promises, admit mistakes, and stand behind our work. Our reputation is worth more than any profit.
What it means: We never cut corners, we communicate honestly, we own our mistakes, we keep our word, and we always choose what is right over what is easy.
Character builds companies long before buildings.
“Build to outlive the generation that built it.”
Good enough is never good enough. Every detail matters — from planning to framing, from waterproofing to the final cleaning. We pursue craftsmanship that homeowners will still appreciate decades from now.
What it means: Premium materials, premium workmanship, continuous learning, precision, and attention to detail.
Would we proudly build this for our own family?
“Great buildings are planned before they are built.”
Most construction problems happen before construction even begins. We believe exceptional planning prevents costly mistakes. Our goal is to remove surprises.
What it means: Detailed design, fixed-price contracts, clear timelines, risk prevention, and organized systems.
The easiest mistake to fix is the one that never happens.
“Clarity creates confidence.”
Construction shouldn't be stressful. Clients deserve to know what is happening before they have to ask. We communicate early, honestly, and clearly.
What it means: Weekly updates, fast responses, honest conversations, transparency, and no hidden surprises.
Confusion destroys trust. Clarity builds it.
“People before projects.”
We are not here just to build houses. We build lifelong relationships. Every customer should feel cared for, respected, and valued — years after the project is complete, they should still be proud they chose Evolve.
What it means: Listen first, serve humbly, care deeply, treat every client like family, and build trust before contracts.
Success isn't measured only by homes built — it's measured by customers who gladly recommend us.
“Everything we build exists for God's glory.”
Evolve exists for something much bigger than construction. Our business is a tool God has entrusted to us, with a purpose to glorify Christ through excellence, generosity, leadership, and service.
What it means: Honor God in every decision, support Christian ministries, raise future leaders, steward finances wisely, bless families through beautiful homes, and conduct business with biblical integrity.
Our ultimate success is not measured by revenue — it is measured by eternal impact.
